On 24.07.2018 was held Final Press – Conference at the Hall of Rodopi Hotel, Haskovo under Project Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046, Subsidy Contract №РД-02-29-238/31.07.2017. The Project began in August 2017 and its duration is one year. It is under the First Call of Cooperation Programme INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014-2020, CCI 2014TC16I5CB005, funded by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance and Co-Financing provided by the national budgets of Bulgaria and Turkey.

Mr. Yancho Yanev – Chairman of Haskovo Chamber of commerce and Industry – the Lead Partner opened the press conference. Around 25 representatives of media, tourist-information centers, agencies, restaurants and hotels attended the event.

On 02.07.2018 was held a press-conference at the conference hall of Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Turkey under Project “Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046. Partners in the Project are Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association Thracian Sustainable Development. The project began in August, 2017 and it’s duration is one year. Mr. Recep Zipkinkurt – Chairman of the MB of Edirne CCI, opened the press conference. 25 representatives of the media, tourist information centers and associations attended it.

Elif Yardimci – Project Coordinator, presented the implementation of the Project. The created online platform for the project – Tourist Gourmet Guide for the cross-border region Bulgaria and Greece www.transgourme.eu was presented.

Culinary Exhibition TransGourmeTour was held in Edirne,Turkey on 01.07.2018 under Project “Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046. The Exhibition was organized by Edirne CCI in partnership with Haskovo CCI and Association Thracian Sustainable Developmnet. The event was opened by a welcome speech of Recep Gürkan – Mayor of Edirne Province, Recep Zipkinkurt – Chairman of the MB of Edirne CCI and Mako Arnaudov – Chairman of the Control Board of Haskovo CCI.

The exhibition provided to 60 turkish represenattives of restaurants, dairies, bakeries, food producers, farmers and hobby-cooks to present their products.

On May 2, 2018 at the office of Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held the third work meeting of Project Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046. Project Partners are Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, R. Turkey and the Association with Community Service “Thracian Sustainable Development”, Kolarovo village, Haskovo district, and the period for implementation is 01.08.2017 - 31.07.2018.

Participants at the Work Meeting were representatives from the three-partner organizations. During the meeting were discussed the implementation of activities, the successful organization of the Culinary Exhibition in Harmanli and the upcoming organization of a culinary exhibition in Edirne, Turkey.    

Culinary Exhibition TransGourmeTour was organized on May 1, 2018 in Harmanli under Project: Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour), ref. № CB005.1.22.046. The project is being implemented by Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association with Community Service “Thracian Sustainable Development “. Co-organizers of the Exhibition were Associations Unity and The Business for Harmanli, Harmanli. The Mayor of Harmanli Municaplity Mariya Kirkova opened the event and greeted all participants by wishing them success.

Guests at the Exhibition was a delegation from Edirne, led by Recep Zipkinkurt, Chairman of Edirne CCI. 50 Bulgarian representatives of wineries, diaries, food products producers, agricultural producers, community centers and hobby-cooks participated for free at the exhibition. All participants were satisfied as they sold their products to over 1000 visitors, and were able to create many contacts.

On 11 and 12 January 2018 in Edirne, Turkey was held the Second Work Meeting for Project “Development and promotion of gourmet and wine tourism in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey (TransGourmeTour)“, ref. № CB005.1.22.046 and contract № RD-02-29-238 / 31.07.2017 , co-financed by the EU through the INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Turkey Programme 2014-2020, CCI 2014TC16I5CB005.

The Project, which began on 01.08.2017 is being executed by the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, R. Turkey and the Association with Community Service “Thracian Sustainable Development”, Kolarovo village, Harmanli District and it’s duration is 12 months.

Recep Zipkinkurt – Chairman of the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened the meeting. Present at the meeting were Yancho Yanev – Chairman of the BD of HCCI and the members of the teams from the three partners.
